first saw this concert many years at the rainbow london and moskcow russia, orderd all six concerts but one is mia, thank you concert live for bringing back so many memories.

As a big Elton fan I think this concert is great. Unlike other tours, in this one the song selection is really nice and Elton is doing some of the songs I never heard him doing on stage. I wish I could see Elton and Ray live on stage !! And I wish Elton would perform in Israel as well !!! It has been a very long time since he was there (1993) !!!!

Thank you,Concert Live, for doing this.I love to hear Elton when he is solo (nothing against his band), but you can really hear his wonderful voice and his unique piano playing. I have been a fan of his since 1973 and I have about 70 of his CDs and 10 DVDs and tape of concerts he had done. This CD is so good that I believe it is my favorite. This is a must have for any Elton John fan. Thank you, again for this wonderful and amazing CD. Elton is just the very best and he always will be. Dianne

Superbly fantastic performance from Elton and Ray here. An equally amazing recording/mixing job done to make this masterpiece shine. Having such beautiful and unique combinations as Funeral For a Friend paired with Tonight, and the Carla Etude songs, make this set a favorite on my list. I personally preference no audible audience in the mix, but this set has just a suitable amount to please those who do appreciate it, while not distracting those who don't. Quality is through the roof as usual. This set is remarkable evidence of musical and technical virtuosity and is my absolute favorite collection of Elton songs to date.

I was among those lucky enough to attend this spectacular show. 3 hours of total virtuosity from both Elton (alone piano for almost half of the show) and then Ray, the master of anything one can hit. The recording captures perfectly the performance. The audience is also well audible on this reording, contrary to the prior band shows.

The best show you ever gave us Elton !.I was a the first row and it was so magic to see your virtuosity with the wonderful Ray Cooper on drums .Long live the king Elton! and hope i'll have the opportunity to see you many times in France .

This is arguably the best performance by Elton and Ray on this tour. The piano impros are just spectacular, especially on Take Me To The Pilot, Honky Cat and Saturday Night. How can someone possibly play with so much energy and virtuosity on the latter track, after 3 hours of non-stop playing. Simply amazing.

My 21st Elton Show was the best

With 2 other friends I took the way from Switzerland to Paris to see Elton & Ray. It was just outstanding! The Palais des Congres is built as a big cinema theatre for about 4,000 people, they were in great mood. After Funeral For A Friend/Tonight people didn't stop clapping. Before Saturday Night's Elton gave hundreds of autographs during 5-6 minutes and - for the first time - he gave his sunglasses to a young boy in the first row. That was truly a concert masterpiece - and thanks god it's available on CD ... ;-)

I also would like to mention the fantastic sound quality on this one! This is a wonderful concert. When listening to it, I wish I could have been there. Unfortunately, Elton and Ray didn't make the way to Switzerland until now. Maybe next autumn?

Received this concert cd today, the sound quality is outstanding, first saw Ray on stage with Elton in 1976, then severaltimes again in the late 70's and finally at the Royal Albert Hall shows in the 90's. The magic continues between Ray and Elton, who's piano playing on this cd is crisp and his vocals outstanding, if you are dithering about buying this or any of the solo shows I can guarantee you will not be disappointed withy this edition-lets hope the Face2Face shows come to Europe and are treated to a release as superior as this. Many Many thanks to Concert live.

Having followed Elton since 1973 and attended over 50 gigs I have to say his true class comes through in solo performence.I saw the Royal Albert Hall gig,(why no c d)How does Elton still do it.His voice and piano are incredable ie Indian sunset + Rocket Man.The second half Madman Ray who is a show in himself,would you believe at 67 still very entertaining it's such a pleasure to hear a top class recording of 2 excellent musicians Thanks to Concert Live

I was fortunate to be at this amazing concert. The live CD captures every moment as it happened. Sound quality is top class. Elton and Ray put on a stunning show with a set list us elton fans dream to witness. I'll be playing this again and again. Highlights?....well, the answer is simple..... the whole concert!

Le Palais des Congrés de Paris n'avait probablement jamais connu un tel triomphe. Elton a été plus généreux et virtuose que jamais. Ray Cooper sait toujours manier le tambourin et la cymbale comme personne. En retour le public a offert des ovations à la hauteur de l'extraordinaire performance des 2 musiciens. A l'année prochaine :-)

The first time I saw Elton john on stage was 30 years ago in Paris at the Théâtre des Champs Elysées with......Ray Cooper. So last night was a kind of anniversary! 3 hours of a fantastic concert. Amazing, fabulous, etc..... BUY IT!!!!
